Canning again

I used the rest of the berries we picked from Emma Krumbees to make strawberry jam and raspberry syrup.  The syrup actually turned out to be more of a jam and isn't runny at all.  Since this I got a jam, jelly, preserves book from the library and now I'm armed with some tricks to fix this in the future. 

I also dried my hot peppers to make chili powder and then made some peach & nectarine fruit leather. 

Next up is another batch of not so hot salsa and hopefully some creole sauce.
