Amelia had her second real bath. She absolutely hated the first one but this time she thought maybe she would like it. She looked all around like what is happening to me. Then I had to wash her face and the fun ended.
Friday my friend Hilary came over to visit and we asked her to be Amelia's Godmother. I think she's pretty excited to be her Godmother. Now I have to set the date.
Last night Amelia couldn't breathe so I had to bring out the dreaded bulb syringe. She screamed the whole time and it took awhile to get the boogers out. By the time we were done she was very upset and so was I so I let her sleep with us. I hate that thing! I think what bothers me even more is that I can't tell her I'm doing it to make her feel better in the end.
We had some exciting news from my brother. He sold his house! They've had it on the market for 6 months and I know my sil is glad to not have to keep it "ready to show" clean. They have a month to pack up and find a new home.
On the knitting front I took a break from the vest and made a cowl or infinity scarf. I used Berroco Weekend yarn and I love how it turned out. It was a great fast project.
